Media and entertainment companies

From our humble beginnings 10 years ago with a simple tool to help radio stations gauge what music their listeners wanted to hear more or less of, we've grown to work for some of the world's (four continents, twelve languages and counting) biggest and most successful media and entertainment companies.  Services we provide to them include:

Growing, entrepreneurial firms

As a growing, entrepreurial firm ourselves (including being named to the Inc. 500), we have developed a special expertise in helping other fast growth firms with their research needs.  In particular, there is a point in a growing company's life where it becomes increasingly difficult to sustain growth.  Competitors get more aggressive, key people leave or fail to keep up with the changes the company is going through, lines of communication get longer, and the owner/founder loses intimacy with the health of the business.  We love tackling these kinds of challenges and helping growth firms stay on top of their fast-changing, exciting business.

Market research departments of large enterprises

Large companies typically have their own internal market research department.  But most of the time, the people in that department manage projects that are executed by outside vendors.  And often in the past, large firms would look to large market research firms to handle that work.  We have begun to work with the market research departments of some larger firms, however, who want a vendor who is less bureaucratic and more responsive.  They know they can call us and get the attention they desire.  In particular, we excel at building and managing custom strategic initiatives like national/international panels, custom tracking, multi-modal and longitudinal projects.

Advertising and marketing agencies

Primary research is an important part of the strategic plans many advertising and marketing firms put together for their clients.  Frequently, the research needs of a particular project will be beyond the internal capabilities of the agency.  However, the agency would still like to be able to offer their client a comprehensive package where they are able to deliver the complete program.  In those cases, advertising and market agencies look to TroyResearch for private labelled backend services, which can even include a custom-branded online reporting system.

Other market researchers

Market research firms tend to have expertise in particular methodological and/or operational specialties.  Some firms are qualitative oriented and might even have their own in-person focus group facilities.  Others would be focused on telephone-based surveys with their own internal telephone call center.  Firms with those (and other similar) areas of focus frequently lack the ability to execute Internet-based projects.  We provide those firms with private label online quantitative, qualitative and panel management services to allow them to include those capabilities as part of their own offerings.
